HISTORY OF THE SLICK SLIDE

Slick Slide originated aprox. 1968 by Clyde Cameron. Clyde had designed the system in a restaurant in Council ID on a napkin when a friend came to him and complained about having to quit trap shooting if they couldn't figure out something to reduce the recoil. The idea was born from there and developed the name Clyde Slide. Clyde moved to Lewiston ID and continued to make the Clyde Slide tell 2008 when Carey Baron and his son Adam approached Clyde about wanting to make the system. They agreed on the details and moved the business to Orofino ID with the stipulation that Carey change the name. Carey made his first paying slide and when he checked back to see how his customer liked it. The guy said "that works pretty slick" well that stuck and name Slick Slide was born. In 2015 Carey moved the business to Springfield Oregon to be with his family. 2018 I was approached about purchasing the Slick Slide business from Carey. We agreed on the details and I went to Oregon to train with Carey and brought the business back to Lewiston Idaho. Upon seeing the quality of my work Carey agreed to let me continue with the Slick Slide name.
